Jealous of her best friend’s abs, Meaghan decided to try out CrossFit in the summer of 2012. She stumbled upon a tiny garage box in her hometown and was thoroughly humbled when she couldn’t even finish the workout. A former level 6 gymnast and extremely competitive person, Meaghan was determined to improve at CrossFit and soon became obsessed, especially with Olympic weightlifting and kettlebells.
Growing up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, CA, Meaghan always found a reason to be outside or play sports such as basketball and volleyball. She moved to NYC to attend NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and recently graduated with a BFA in Drama. Meaghan shadowed and assisted CrossFit NYC classes for a year before becoming a coach through CrossFit NYC’s Mentorship Program. Meaghan’s extensive gymnastics background combined with her enthusiasm for CrossFit motivates and inspires athletes of all ages to move better and train harder.
