Kevin Scott

Growing up in Virginia, Kevin was very active playing many different sports. In high school, he transitioned from football and basketball to singing and dancing. After graduating with a degree in theatre from Christopher Newport University, Kevin performed at theme parks, cruise ships, and regional theaters around the country. While performing Kevin’s normal gym routine consisted of spending two hours or more at the gym doing cardio machines and free weights.

In 2014, Kevin discovered Crossfit by taking his first class where he performed a short workout “Helen” (3 rounds for time of: 400 m Run, 21 Kettlebell Swings, 12 Pull ups). Immediately after he finished “Helen”, he knew that CrossFit was the type of training he wanted to pursue. His favorite part about CrossFit is the competitive nature, which has pushed him to get better fitness and strength.

After a couple years of CrossFit, Kevin knew he wanted to become a coach so he could share his passion and experience with others. As a coach, Kevin encourages people, in a supportive and safe way, to lift weights and perform skills they never thought they could. Crossfit has helped Kevin get in the best shape of his life and the best part is that he hasn’t had to spend more than an hour of working out at any given time.
