Fitness has always been a priority for Coach Jose. An avid gym goer since he was a teenager, Jose fondly remembers that he would ask his mom for a gym membership on his birthday each year. A student of both movement and sport, Jose has tried it all with fitness: running, Strongman, HIIT, Spartan races, and finally CrossFit.
CrossFit satisfied Jose’s insatiable curiosity for movement and sport. Pursuing the coaching mentorship program at CrossFit NYC a few years ago was a natural step for Jose to begin coaching and learning more about CrossFit. You can now find him at the gym picking up and putting down odd object as he figures out new ways to make training fun (and grueling) for his clients.
Jose’s primary focus with coaching is getting his clients to maximize their results while minimizing injury.
