OUT-FIT “Barbells Only” Workout
Does your perfect workout consist of only barbell movements? If your answer is yes, then this workout is for you! Join us at CrossFit NYC Upper West Side for our first “Barbells Only” workout. This is your chance to find a new PR, push your limits and meet some great Proud athletes along the way!
Everyone is welcome to join us as long as you are comfortable with the movements as listed in the two workouts listed below:
Workout #1 (Partner Workout)
“You Got This”
For Max Combined Weight (Heaviest set of each partner)
In a shared 8 Minute clock, each partner finds a 3 RM Overhead Squat from the floor
Workout #2 (Partner Workout)
Partner 1: 30 Power Snatches
As soon as Partner 1 finishes, Partner 2 begins.
Partner 2: 30 Power Snatches
Individual Time Cap: 5 Minutes
Weights: Each partner will use 60% of their 3 RM from event #1.
Athlete #1 finds an Overhead Squat 3 RM of 225 lbs. Their Isabel weight will be 135 lbs (60% of 225 lbs).

Price: $25 for Non-CFNYC Members
Format: Teams of Two (created at the event)
Post Event Social: A group will be heading to Sheep Meadow in Central Park for some fun and sun!

All athletes from the NYC area are welcome to join us, though for the safety of everyone proficiency in the Clean and Jerk and Power Snatch is required. Don’t have a partner? No worries, we will partner you up at the event!
