Do kettlebell snatches seem way harder than they should be? If the answer is yes, then our next How To is for you!
Join Coach Todd for a class on how to snatch a kettlebell. He will start with reviewing how to grip the bell and the single arm swing. Then you’ll learn snatch progressions until you are fixated (locked out) with the bell overhead. Time will be spent on proper hand insertion and proper hand placement overhead. After instruction, there will be an opportunity to for you to do a 5 minute Snatch Test.
No experience is required to attend, but please consider wearing long sleeves or bringing wrist wraps. Some athletes may bang up their wrists a bit during the learning process. Reservations will open up in Zen Planner on Sunday 12/30!
Due to the amount of hands on instruction, space is limited to 12 members per class. Please make sure you can actually attend the session before signing up!
Coach Todd is a CF-L2 trainer. He has completed the CrossFit Kettlebell Specialty Course, holds a Level 1 OKC Kettlebell Sport Certification and has competed in kettlebell snatch only competitions.
