The Nutrition 101 Seminar is back!

This seminar is intended for new and old members who want to learn more about the basics of nutrition. For those of you who missed it in 2017, make sure you sign up ASAP as spots fill up fast.
Nutrition 101 is all about exploring the basic foundations of sound nutrition. You’ll learn about what to eat, how much to eat, and meal timing depending on your goals inside and outside of the gym. We’ll go over what macro and micro nutrients are and learn about the differences in their structure and function. You’ll also learn how to then build balanced meals by manipulating these nutrients, depending on your goals and lifestyle. Finally, we’ll talk about the causes of inflammation and how it it the affects your energy and well being. We’ll use our new found knowledge of nutrition basics and other lifestyle and recovery tools to learn how to control and reduce it.

Coach Erica has a BS in Exercise Science from Central Connecticut State University where she played D1 soccer. She has been coaching CrossFit since 2012 and is a certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
