1/2/15 Whole30 Nutrition Challenge

This is our first ever Whole30 Nutrition Challenge, and we hope you will join us. For those of you that
are not familiar with the Whole30, technically speaking it is an entire nutritional and habitual 30 day
reset. But secretly, it’s a life changer. Really and truly.

“It will change the way you think about food, it will change your tastes, it will change your habits and your cravings. It could, quite possibly, change the emotional relationship you have with food, and with your body. It has the potential to change the way you eat for the rest of your life.

The physical benefits of the Whole30 are profound. More than 95% of participants lose weight and
improve their body composition, without counting or restricting calories.
In addition, the Whole30 is
designed to reduce inflammation and strengthen the immune system, leading to speedier recovery from
exercise. Remember, you don’t get fitter when you’re CrossFitting, you get fitter when you’re recovering from CrossFit. And we’re pretty sure you want all the hard work you’re doing in here to pay off, right?

The psychological benefits of the Whole30 may be even more dramatic. Through the program,
participants report effectively changing long-standing, unhealthy habits related to food, developing a
healthier body image, and a dramatic reduction or elimination of cravings
, particularly for sugar and
carbohydrates. The words so many Whole30 participants use to describe this place? “Food freedom.”
Now that sounds delightful.

Finally, testimonials from thousands of Whole30 participants document the improvement or “cure” of
any number of lifestyle-related diseases and conditions. Such as: high blood pressure • high cholesterol • type 1 diabetes • type 2 diabetes • asthma • allergies • sinus infections • migraines • depression • bipolar disorder • heartburn • GERD • arthritis • ADD • thyroid dysfunction • lupus • leaky gut syndrome • Crohn’s • IBS • Celiac disease • ulcerative colitis just to name a few.

Any of this sound good to you? Yeah, us too. Join us in what is bound to be a real journey. We will have a closed Facebook page for participants only, meet-ups throughout the month, and a big Whole30
potluck at the end of the challenge to celebrate our victories with high fives, good eats, and prizes!

If you’re in…keep reading…

Here’s how to start:

3)Sign up here: Whole30 Nutrition Challenge There is a $10 fee. This fee will offset the cost of the prizes on prizes on prizes that we will be giving out. Also, we think a small financial investment helps make it real. The deadline to register is Sat. December 27th. This will give us time to get everyone in the Facebook group, get prepped with your groceries, and take your pics and measurements. In other words it will give you time to get your head in the game. I’ll send out the participant emails daily to any new registrants.
4)Order and read: It Starts With Food
5)Accept the Facebook invite to our private Whole30 Challenge group

Once you register you will receive an email* with all of the rules and info that we need for you to get

Also, if you prefer not to share your weight, pics, or measurements with us, that is 100% ok. You do NOT need to submit any pics or numbers in order to particpate in the challenge, only to be eligible for certain prizes. Its entirely your choice. I do however, encourage you to still take them, and keep them for your records, you will want to see all that work pay off. *Make sure that you have not “unsubscribed” from receiving emails from
CFNYC in the past.

Not sure you have a lot of weight to lose, or improvement to make in your performance? Worried that
will make it impossible for you to win a prize? No worries! The benefit of feeling great will be prize
enough…..Just KIDDING!
There will be all sorts of ways to win. Such as: Most improved benchmark

reduction in asthma, chronic pain, diabetes, anxiety, eczema, tendinitis, etc.) Best documentation of the process (up to interpretation.) Most active (meet-ups and social media). Most supportive and overall in-it-to win-it attitude.

Just wondering when the email will get sent out after signing up for the Whole30 Nutrition Challenge? I haven’t received it yet (and yes, I checked my spam folder).
    Looking forward to this.

Emails will start getting sent out tomorrow. Glad you’re excited!

i will be out of town during the seminars. will this challenge come up again in the near future???

    • Stacey Pearson

You don’t need to be here for the seminar to participate. You just need to get acquainted with the rules and the spirit of the Whole30. I suggest reading the book for sure. But their website and the email I’ll be sending out, will have most of the info that you need. Join us!

Did my first Whole30 in August and I loved it so much that it turned into a Whole60. Very excited to do another in January. To anyone who is on the fence: DO IT!! It will change your life and your relationship with food in ways you would never imagine possible!

Emphasis on “relationship with food”. I finished my Whole30 last month and haven’t had any sweets since. Don’t need ’em. Everything tastes better without all the added sugar now. (So that’s why they’re called sweet potatoes!)
