Getting Started at CrossFit NYC

Free Intro Class

The Free Intro class is a chance to learn more about CrossFit NYC and try a CrossFit workout. You can take a class most Saturday mornings at either of our locations. You don’t need to “get in shape” to attend an intro class or our Fundamentals classes, as we’ve scaled them to be friendly and accessible for any fitness level. You can feel free skip the intro class and to head straight to Fundamentals if you like.

You can register for a Free Intro class here, then simply show up. We have lockers, showers and towel service at our Flatiron and Upper West Side locations.

First Month – Fundamentals

The next step (or the first step, if you’d like to skip the Intro class) is to sign up for a first month ($149).

New members start their first month at CrossFit NYC with 8 Fundamentals classes. Typical Fundamentals classes have a maximum of 10 participants, and are taught by our most experienced instructors.

After you complete 8 Fundamentals classes, you will be able to join our regular classes for the duration of the month. You should know that we have Beginner classes for new members who are in their first year of CrossFit that includes nearly 200 classes per week.

(If you are coming from another CrossFit affiliate, and have completed a comparable level of CrossFit-specific training, you may be able to skip Fundamentals. Please email us at info@crossfitnyc.com let us know about your background.)
