The CrossFit Open: Results from 15.2

15.2 was a repeat work out from 2014 (14.2). The top score to beat for this workout from 2014 was 404 reps set by Camille Leblanc-Bazinet. To get 404 reps, Leblanc-Bazinet had to earn her way into the seventh 3-minute interval. There, she completed 22 overhead squats and 22 chest-to-bar pull-ups before being time capped at 21 minutes. The next closest competitor, Irving Hernandez, had 396 reps and the next best female, Kelley Jackson, 353 reps.

This year 10 men and women exceeded Camille’s 404 reps, which means even the most competitive CrossFitters have steadily improved since last year.

How does your 14.2 compare to 15.2? Did you also see an improvement?

Every 3 minutes for as long as possible complete:

From 0:00-3:00

2 rounds of:
10 overhead squats (95/65 lb.)
10 chest-to-bar pull-ups

From 3:00-6:00

2 rounds of:
12 overhead squats (95/65 lb.)
12 chest-to-bar pull-ups

From 6:00-9:00

2 rounds of:
14 overhead squats (95 / 65 lb.)
14 chest-to-bar pull-ups

Etc., following same pattern until you fail to complete both rounds

I can’t even imagine getting close to the 435 reps that Josh Bridges got in 15.2, but I am determined to do this workout RX’d when it shows up as 16.2 next year. OHS – you are all mine by next year’s open!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
