    Thank you for programming today’s workout. It’s a good opportunity to take an active recovery day. When I got home on Fri afternoon following 14.5 the very first thing I did was unregister from today’s class. But after seeing rowing, situps and lunges I signed back up.

    I went at 80% effort. Partnered up with Jon (his 4th class, welcome to the community!) I’m already feeling better than I did yesterday and when I woke up this morning. If you’re sore today’s workout is a perfect way to get your blood flowing and loosen things up from 14.5

    Experienced wod: 9:23 (32 kb Russian swings). Been sick this week so doing 14.5 tomorrow. This was to just to get moving a little. Didn’t go overhead today to save my shoulders for tomorrow’s joyous thrusters.

    16:26. First time any sort of Annie. Cut the DU reps in half, 20kg Russian swings…which caused bloody rips on my small hands by the halfway point of the 20 rep set. Ouch. Band aids to the sort-of rescue, those final 20 reps were painful but I finished!
