REMINDER: Today, Labor Day, will run on a Sunday schedule at 28th St. No Elements classes. No CFE classes.

All-levels WOD/Beginner WOD:

20 Pull-ups
30 Push-ups
40 Sit-ups
50 Squats
Rest precisely three minutes between each round. 5 rounds, time each round

CFE classes cancelled today due to Labor Day holiday.

A. Thruster 3-3-3-3-3
B. 5 rounds: 20 Wallball 20/14, 10 toes to bar

Competition Team WOD:
Part A. Front Squat 5×2
Part B. For time: 400 meter Farmer’s Carry then 500 meter row for time.

    I enjoy the action photos we post. This is a phenomenal one of Kyle going for a PR on his one leg wall lean. I saw him working very hard on this movement last week, and it looks like that hard work is paying off. Congrats Coach!! ;)

    37:45 Rx (4:04, 5:03, 5:13, 5:26, 5:59). As I expected pushups were my time suck. The last two rounds were sets of 2 and 1…

    Was really looking forward to this. The last time I did Barbara was my first month of CrossFit. My time then was 23 minutes even, RX (35, including rest).

    Today:
    RX 17:25 (29:25 including rest) – (3:08, 3:16, 3:23, 3:50, 3:48). For some reason, abmat situps crush me, definitely could make up 5-10 seconds per round there. Overall, really happy with the big drop in this WOD.

      Congrats on the improvement. All the hard work is clearly paying off. Great job today. Your time per round was about my time for pull ups you sob.

    Performed this one at home which kinda sux. So much better when people and coaches are pushing you. Bad news: 48:48. Good news: performed this with palms out pulls for the first time ever.

      wow T-Rex! Nice. I was signed up and then I unsigned up last night. No excusses just wussed out. Did a couple five mile runs this weekend, have not run seriously or consistently in two years, each day the form was there and the stamina was there as well. 5 miles, 32:15, first day, 34:30 second day. All the proof I need to see that crossfit is helping me crush it every day, those times are close to where I left running the last year where I PR’d every race I ran, won my age group and finished 5th over all in a small local race, and finished a top ten age group top 100 overall in a a race of 4500 people in central park. I am truly shocked I expected a whole lot less! Lol. Nice job on the pull ups, I know your shoulders are the limiting factor, and now you are overcoming the limitations!!!! well done my friend.

    But I will not soon forget my time here today: heaving, grunting and letting fly an eloquent tapestry of profanity for 43 minutes and 28 seconds.
