Wedneday’s schedule is:

We’ll be holding our ALL-LEVELS WOD classes at 26 Street. We’re using our 26th St. location so that folks can use the SHOWERS. (Please note, however, that if you want to use the shower, you MUST bring your own TOWEL because we cannot get laundry service at the moment.)

PLEASE NOTE that the CFE WODs scheduled for Wednesday have been CANCELED. While Coach Heidi is anxious to resume those classes, she cannot yet assure the safety and availability of the outdoor area where those classes are held. Stay tuned for updates on when CFE WODs will resume. Thanks!

    Update (Sunday, 11:41 AM):

    We will run one WOD per hour Monday AM at 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, and 10:00 AM. These will be held at 25 West 26 Street (Third Floor).

    If you are already registered in any of these (Sara’s) classes, your registration will be canceled, and you will need to re register. If you are registered in any of the other AM classes, your class and your registration are canceled.

    There will be no Elements classes tomorrow. (We will soon determine makeup dates.)

    We will soon announce details for the rest of the day.

    Update (Sunday, 5:30 PM)

    All Monday Elements and Intro classes are canceled.

    All Monday afternoon and evening WOD’s are canceled, except for five WOD’s that Jeff will run on the Third Floor at 26 Street: 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM (special), 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. (Some or all of these may be subsequently canceled, if the weather proves to be too severe.)

    Thus we have exactly 10 WOD’s currently scheduled for tomorrow:

    Sully: 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM (special), 10:00 AM
    Jeff : 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM( special), 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, and 7:00 PM

    Please register (and cancel, if you cannot attend). If any of these close out (as opposed to subsequently being canceled) show up anyway, we wont turn you away, as long as there is a class.

    These WOD’s will all be at 25 West 26 Street (Third Floor)
    Everything else is canceled.
    28 Street is closed.
    26 Street will be closed from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

  • Slightly confused, in the registration calendar, all the 26th street WODs are at :15 or :45? Which should we register for?

    Even if a WOD appears to be closed out today, you will not be turned away. RIght now, we have a “full” class registered at 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, but we’re seeing 30% not show. Obviously some people are getting delayed in transit, but if you know you wont be here, please try to cancel, so people are not dissuaded from trying for any given class.

    It’s looking like some of the later classes may need to be canceled. Is there an interest in an 11:00 AM WOD?

      What about adding a class or two between 12pm and 3pm, since the afternoon classes may need to be canceled.

    Schedule Update (as of 9:45 AM):

    We are adding adding a 1:00 PM and a 2:00 PM WOD. (Just show up, even if it’s not up on Zen Planner.)

    We are canceling the 6:00 PM WOD and the 7:00 PM WOD (even though they may remain up on Zen Planner for a while.)

    Tuesday Schedule (as of 2:15 PM Monday):

    All Elements are canceled.

    Beginner / Black Box WOD’s every hour on the hour at 25 West 26 Street (Third Floor) starting at 8:00 AM.

    If we need to open later and/or close earlier, we will let you know at least an hour in advance. Check the blog, including the comments for the latest updates before you head over.

    It may take a while to get these up in Zen Planner. If a WOD appears closed, we will still take you, if you show up. However, please do your best to register, and cancel, if you can’t make it.

    (We are on target to have well over 100 people show up today, Monday.)

    Downtown Manhattan is flooding. Con Ed is starting to shut down power in lower Manhattan. We’re canceling the 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM WOD at this point. More cancellations will likely follow.

    Update (Tuesday, 8:30 AM):

    Downtown is a mess, with no electric below 34th. As of now, we’re canceling at least the 10:00 AM and the 11:00 AM.

    If you believe you would be able to make a noon WOD, post to comments. We’ll do our best to accommodate our members, but only if it’s clear that they are at least as crazy as we are.

    are there any functioning showers at 28th these days?

      The women’s locker room showers work at 28 Street. (Bring your own towels). If you need to use the 28 Street shower, we can probably make it available to men on a brief basis.

      Tomorrow we are planning to use 26 Street for the WOD’s, so that everyone can have access to showers. (Bring your own towel, since we can’t get laundry service.)

    Is there an update regarding classes tonight? I’m unfortunately in the office today so can’t make any of the scheduled WODs and was hoping to come this evening.

      “To Be Determined” refers only to the coach.

      Bo will be teaching WOD’s at 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, 7:00 , and 8:00 PM tonight.
