    Crossfit NYC makes the affiliate page on the CF Mainsite. A handful of coaches headed up to Columbia last weekend to judge the RBC Decathlon to find the fittest man and woman on Wall Street. Fun event.

    Hey folks. I’m Luke, from Denver, and Crossfit Verve. My wife and I are trying to stay in mid-lower Manhattan for a few days in September. Any recommendations on hotels, sub 300$/night? I appreciate any feedback.

      Hi Luke,
      If you are doing the more “touristy” things in Midtown, I would suggest staying somewhere near Times Square or Rockefeller Center. Can’t really help you out with specific places to stay but you can find plenty online. Check out Trip Advisor or even Yelp for good/bad reviews. If you are looking to do more “local, New Yorker-y” types of things, I would suggest somewhere in Lower Manhattan. I live on the Lower East Side and there are great places to hang your hat there. Haven’t looked at prices lately (we’re currently in the high season) but Thompson LES, Hotel East Houston, Hotel Blue Moon, Standard Hotel East and Bowery Hotel, you can sometimes find sub-$300/night rooms there. Cheaper during the week than staying over the weekend. And send our best wishes to Matt Chan. I’m a big fan of his!
