  • Asegal04

    Confused, can i do 12.5 tomorrow 1 pm @ 26th?

  • Michael North

I may have the lowest score today but I don’t care.  I got my first C2B pull-up.

    12.5: 4

Thanks Dan for being patient for the next 6 minutes and 45 seconds whilst I no-repped a few dozen times…

    • Mike_C

Any chance I can do MU/SDLHP at 28th tomorrow?  Rings setup is a game changer…and safer if you’re using big kips.

  • Jana B.

12.5 Official score 3 (unofficial 59 weight rx’d with black band pullups)

  • Zoe

12.5 65 Rx’d… compared to 79 last year, but with lighter weight and banded pull ups. Nice reminder of the progress I’ve made in a year

      Nicely done!

Blogging from a broken elevator. Thinking about max jumps to the door in the ceiling.

    12.5 53
Good news! Discovered a new goat when I no rep’d a bunch of c2b’s in the last round. 🙂

    • Jim S

Btw, I was so looking forward to the elation of having completed the open. But instead I just keep going over those no reps in my head. Having gotten through the round of 12 push presses I feel like I should have finished the pull ups and gotten and even 60. I was more surprised than anything when I started missing my chest to the bar. Might have to take another run at this one tomorrow…

    • Steve Slo

Bad-ass… It seems your days of overhead difficulty are maybe a thing of the past.

  • Matt M.

    12.5 – 84
May take another run at this tomorrow.

      • Rory

        Quoting our dear friend walston!!!

  • David Stogsdill

    Open WOD 12.5

    36 RX’d

Thanks Andrew for making me get through those thrusters.

  • Jason L

106, the round of 15 really snuck up on me, and I was spent for the next set of thrusters.  I would urge everyone who competed to take a few days and really assess their strengths and weaknesses, both global (ie shoulder endurance) and specific (ie double unders).  Make a list and create tangible goals to accomplish in the upcoming months.  Oh, and everyone needs to get stronger.

    Open WOD 12.5: (3pm class):

61 reps… and I’m super pleased with this number. I never would have guessed that I had 30 C2B pullups in me.

I’ve decided that next year I am going to do quite well…. fired up and ready to go… starting Monday.

    • Jim S

Nice job Steve! That’s really awesome. I remember it wasn’t all that long ago when pull ups weren’t your thing. You own them now!

    • Annie

      Nice job Steve!!

  • Jana B.

Sorry – all WODs (Open and non) are at 28th or are the on-the-hour at 26th?  Confused.

    • Anonymous

Jana as I understand, the standard WODs are al being at 26th except
the last class at 1PM which is dedicated to completing 12.5- Rx’d.

If you want to scale 12.5 this is taking place 9:20, 10:20, 11:20, 12:20PM at 28th Street. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

    • Hi Jana

Know it seems a little confusing but 26th street classes are as I posted above in the comments (open wod is last class only).  Classes at 28th street are on a different schedule time wise.  Open wods (rx’d or scaled) start at the :20 after classes (As to whether Craig will let people do the muscle up wod is totally up to his discretion based on class sizes).

I see the confusion as it is linked above that there are :40 after classes on Sunday which there are currently not – only on Saturdays.  So for tomorrow if you want to do the open wod at anytime 28th street is your best bet – if you want to do the regular class workout please come to 26th at 10, 11, or noon. Otherwise last chance for open wod is 1 pm at 26th street.

Hope that clarifies tomorrow’s schedule as far as I know it.

  • Mike Mishik

Good drop in at the black box today.  Nice to squat a little with Mike K and catch up with some friends I haven’t seen in a while!

Nicely done to everyone who did the open wod today, was fun to watch.

Front squat  worked up to a set of 3, 215×3
Squat : worked up to a set of 245

    12 handstand push ups
    2 power cleans 135#

    time: 7:37
