Here’s what’s on tap for Thursday’s WOD classes:

A: Front Lever practice

B: WOD:

3 Weighted Pull-ups, 45#/35#
5 Strict Pull-ups
7 Kipping Pull-up
For weighted pull-ups place a 45#/35# dumbbell between the legs above crossed ankles and jettison the dumbbell after third rep and continue with strict pull-ups and then the kipping pull-ups. Coming off the bar or going to ground constitutes termination of a set.

Post time and number of sets to completion.

    On Sunday, New Year’s Day, we had over 50 people do the WOD, about four times what we had expected.

    On Monday, we had over 100 people do the WOD. (If we had it to do over, we would have run a Saturday Schedule, rather than a Sunday schedule.)

    On Tuesday, we shattered our all-time record for the most people doing the WOD in a single day. 
    We see the trend, and by early next week, we will have a plan in place for holding three to four additional WOD classes per day in the new space. We will have some problems to solve, and we will do so quickly.

    I did the NYC Endurance WOD today for the first time.  600m run x 6, 2min breaks between.  Good times.  My battery died, so I have no idea what my splits were.

        Mike Tyson pull-ups refer to the Pavel Pull-up Program. He references Mike Tyson’s back so Ryan thought he’d be a comedian and rename them. LOL.

        Also, there is not necessarily a single interpretation of “paleo” that everyone needs to adhere to to participate in the paleo challenge.
         
        The whole point is to pick a level of buy in for you towards making a healthy change for yourself and to stick with it for a month to see what happens. 
         
        For those of you on the fence who think it may be too strict to do the challenge full on, start small, commit to something for 30 days, learn more about how your body works with different foods, and then go from there.

    Didn’t know what my 1 rm was on any so did sets up to #73 or 78 on the cleans (not sure which) and up to 103 on front squats.
