A big thanks to Coach Avery for volunteering to open the gym on the New Year’s Day holiday and teach on a regular Sunday schedule (10am, 1am, noon, 1pm). Please note that we will be open on Monday, January 2nd, also on a Sunday schedule.

Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:
135/95 lb. Hang Squat Clean x 12 reps
Double-Unders x 12 reps
Pushups x 12 reps

Here’s what’s on tap for Monday’s WOD classes, which will be following a Sunday schedule (i.e., 10am, 11am, noon, 1pm):

Power Snatch + Snatch x2 – 2 @ 65%, 3 @ 70%
Back squat – 8 @ 60%, 8 @ 65%, 6 @ 70%, 2 x 6 @ 75%

    Also… This is Day 1 of paleo-esque eating and living the clean life.

    4 rds + 12 hang squat cleans, 75#. Double unders weren’t the part that slowed me down in this one! Hopefully it’s a sign that I’ll finally get better at them in 2012.

    I started with 75# initially, but was breaking up the set in the second round, so switched to 65# for those last three. Did the push-ups on knees. 🙁 Did the double unders as Rx’d, with two unbroken sets. 🙂
