Thanks to all who made FGB6 a success!

Fight Gone Bad 6 at CrossFit NYC was a roaring success, thanks to all of you who participated and fundraised (and thanks to coaches Josh, Hari, Sully, and Deverell for keeping things running so smoothly)! We’re currently holding strong in 8th place worldwide, having thus far raised $25,879.50. We have until September 23rd MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 5PM PST to fundraise, so please let your friends and family know how you did on the WOD and ask them to donate if they haven’t already. Last year we raised just over $24,000 with 70-some team members. This year we’ve got 130-some team members, so let’s say we keep fundraising way past the $26,000 mark. Who’s in?

Anyone who joined our team by July 25th and raises at least $150 by September 23rd will be eligible for the iPad2 we’re giving away (the one that I won as Team Captain by getting our affiliate to register more team members than any other affiliate out there). I decided to hold off on the raffle until official fundraising ends on September 23rd because I know we’ve got plenty of folks who joined our team by July 25th but who have not yet reached the $150 mark. So let the very good odds of winning that iPad2 motivate you to get that fundraising done!

Couldn’t be with us yesterday but still want to donate to our efforts at the Fight Gone Bad 6 charity event? Click here to donate to one of the members of Team CFNYC! (Simply click on “Search by Team” then choose country: USA, state: New York, team: CrossFit NYC, then choose a member of our team to whom you would like to donate. Thanks!)

Just your standard Fight Gone Bad carnage…

Have you guys stopped a 3 part wod programming?

We stopped doing programmed cash-outs, as fitting them in had turned into a serious challenge. Next month, at least on shorter WODs, we’ll be adding them back in.
