    Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to say hi and thanks! I’m currently away from NYC and from the Box for 5 weeks of Officer Development School for the Navy, in Newport, RI. If I had come here last summer, I think it would have been a totally different experience. Doing Crossfit at the Black Box has made me both physically and mentally stronger and has made this training far less challenging than it might have been. I did my first Physical Fitness Assessment last week and got a great score without any problem. After some of our Crossfit workouts, most morning PT sessions have me hardly breaking a sweat. In fact, I’ve found some fellow CF enthusiasts to do some extra WODs with whenever we get a chance. So again, thanks to all the coaches and members I’ve worked with since joining, being a part of this community has had a big impact on me. I look forward to getting back in a few weeks and working out with everyone again!

    And congrats to Jacinto!

Zoe, thanks for your kinds words. We’re proud to have helped you! And thanks also for signing up for FGB6! See you soon.

    • Jason L.

Good luck Zoe, just make sure you’re keeping your strength up, military training tends to make people lose it in favor of bodyweight conditioning.
