Mark Sisson at our hugely successful talk with him last night:

Hi. The links from the ham downwards all head back to the one about Letting Sunshine In.

    • All fixed now, thanks! Plus I added a new link (first of the bunch) to the article that Mark Sisson’s talk last night at CFNYC was based on.

Yesterday it seemed I discovered a deficiency in my Snatch, and Josh clarified it for me, for some time I knew that my overhead and balance was what needed improvement, but yesterday it was told to me, but by many different coaches. Need to do more overhead squats and snatch balances to really get my ass to the grass as they say

    Snatch balance instead of Snatch
    6:15 am class with Sara

    65-95-95-105-105-105-105-105(failed), 105 again

1K row, in 3:32, yesterday 2K was at 8:44, which is very sad, need to do more PVC work on the rower.

Made up Tuesday’s swimming WOD, 13:21 (almost Rx, swam 50 yds instead of meters, so a bit short). Pushed off wall for first two rds, then started diving for last 3 when I realized nobody would give me a hard time. I know swimming really never comes up, but just curious, for CF swimming workouts, does anyone know if diving is the standard?

Zoe – what pool/gym location did you use?

    • Zoe

I have access to the NYU gyms, so I went to their Palladium one on 14th St.

  • Eric

    95, 115,125,115 (2) F, 115,115, 95

As Kevin P once said there are only 2 foot positions for the snatch.Going to focus on that more next time 🙂

The Mark Sisson talk yesterday was really cool – very engaging speaker and it was nuts to see how many people showed up.

    As for this WOD- 75, 95, 105, 105, 115 (Fail)
