    Look up “Olympic Lifting” or “Burgener”.

  • I also found a Google vid of some VA Crossfitters who were snatching some ridiculous weights, and making it look pretty damn easy for their respective body comps…

    Needless to say I was pulling a little less than them today. I didn’t feel as lost as I typically do with the snatch…I just don’t think it comes up often enough for me to gain much ground on this lift.

    Yesterday I visited Crossfit Apex for the 3rd time and did a WOD coached by Tanya Wagner, winner of the 2009 crossfit games. At full term in her pregnancy, Tanya managed to complete over 5 rounds of this year’s first games WOD (D/U, snatches)! The next week, sensing her new arrival was imminent, she did just 1 deadlift on the 2nd games WOD and went into labor the next day

    Concerning that “Single Best Exercise” article – I nominate the kettlebell swing, which has the benefits of all the exercises they mentioned.

    If I could only do one exercise, it would be kettlebell swings.

    A close runner-up would be rowing, but for the price of a rower, I could buy a kettlebell and hire someone to row me places.
