I am reasonably certain that the team rangings on the Games Site are still wrong. (Has anyone seen anything posted about this elsewhere?)

When I look at the totals associated with each team, they make no sense. They are neither the sum of the regional rankings nor the sum of the national rankings for the three best men and three best women on each team.

I looked briefly at our numbers relative to some of the teams ranked above us and find that we have better total regional rankings and lower total national rankings for our top athletes.

The work is a bit tedious, since there is no obvious way to figure out the team score, but just going off of the regional rankings of the six best on each team should serve as a pretty good proxy.

    Can anyone confirm my analysis?

        North East Regionals
I have been charged with running the North East Regional this year. I am lucky enough to have the help of some of the best people in CrossFit: Jay from CF Milford, Jay from CF Albany, and Vadim from CF Long Island City. Together we hope to put on the best CF event to date. Here is some info so far…
        1. Dates: June 17-19
        2. Location: Reebok World Headquarters in Canton, MA
        3. States in Region: NY, NJ, CT, RI, MA, ME, VT, NH.
        4. Who can compete: The top 60 Men and Women and 30 Teams from the Open Sectionals in our Region.
        5. Goal: To find the 3 fittest Men, Women, and Affiliates in the Northeast Region to send to the CF Games.
        6. We are looking for (and need) volunteers and judges. If you are interested in helping in either capacity please email Jay Ackerman at albanycrossfit@gmail.com. Please put “NorthEast Regional” in the subject line. Thank you!

We will post updates to the The NE Regional Facebook.
