A happy (belated) birthday to Josh!

Friday, July 16th was CFNYC co-founder/co-owner Josh Newman‘s birthday and I didn’t post about it because I didn’t realize it was his birthday until just now! (Sorry, Josh!) So go wish Josh a happy birthday at the Saturday classes he’s teaching, or here on the blog at least!

    I had a training session with Brian D on snatches a few weeks ago and it really helped me with this WOD – I’d definitely recommend him if you’re looking to improve your O-lifts.

    watching the Games webcast… this individual women’s heat alone has Clever, Bergeron, Smith, Iceland Annie, Jessica Pamanian…astounding to watch them.

    53# bar, muscle substitute routine which includes: chest to bar dead hang pull ups, muscle up transition from a crouch, and ring dips (using the thin black band)
    Got few decent ones in. My damn wrist STILL hurts, preventing me from going heavier. Maybe that’s a good thing though, as I’m probably better off focusing on form right now on these technical movements.
