Advice on how to approach today's workout (courtesy of the CrossFit BrandX forums):

If you are unfamiliar with the lift practice use today to practice. Work on technical competency. If you are familiar with the lift today you are a Big Dawg.

hit 200lbs after, 10lbs PR
missed 205 twice

Got to 175 within the 10 min, tied old PR.

Gave 190 a few tries after, and got it overhead easily, just couldn't get balanced. Had a lot of misses in the 10 min due to not getting balanced overhead as well.

WOD 1. THE AIR FORCE WOD

FOR TIME:
YOU WILL HAVE A 20 MINUTE TIME CAP TO COMPLETE THE AIR FORCE WOD.
A CONTINOUS CLOCK WILL BEEP AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH MINUTE, THE ATHLETE WILL STOP & COMPLETE 4 BURPEES EACH MINUTE UNTIL ALL FIVE BARBELL SKILLS ARE FINISHED:

Men 95lbs Women 65lbs
20-Thrusters
20-Sumo Deadlift High Pulls
20-Push jerks
20-Overhead squats
20-Front Squats

The athlete is allowed to move to the next barbell skill once an he/she has completed all 20 reps.
If the clock beeps during a repetition the athlete will complete their rep and then start their four burpees.
There is a 20min cap.

Got 27 reps, tied for 75th

WOD 1 was brutal, 24 DNFs for then men, and 20 DNFs for the women.

Worked up to 55#. Did this at home and was afraid to go any heavier.
