  • Today is self scaling. If you are unfamiliar with the movement check the video and remember to go light if you are just starting out.
    We’ve got 2 bench-press set-ups at the gym. People will be able to share benches pretty easily (and spot each other) as this is not a timed workout.
    Floor presses are another option as well if it gets crowded (which probably won’t be an issue today). If you’ve never floor pressed and want to try it, make sure to have someone show you how to do so safely and effectively–don’t just try to figure it out on your own.

    Today at Prospect Park, my annual Festivus Fun Run:
    Snowy Hill Run 20 minutes
    Running up and down the long snowy staircase 10 rounds (about 23 minutes, but didn’t push it with the snow)
    Realized I was a few miles away from where I wanted to be by accident, ran home 30 minutes.
