Ed contemplates his existence, mid-pullup:

  • PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS WOD WILL HAVE TO BE MODIFIED FOR THE GROUP-CLASS ENVIRONMENT! Your instructor will assess how best to get everyone through some version of “Linda,” but it’s impossible for each person to have her or his own 3 bars.
With that in mind, here are scaling options for today’s WOD, courtesy of the CrossFit BrandX forums:
    Big Dawgs:
    As RX’d
    Either Scale the weight back
Drop the sets doing 10-8-6-4-2 with the rx’d weights.
Scale the weight back and drop the sets as shown above.
Check out this thread for an excellent discussion on power and scaling. Toward the end JDG discusses Linda.

  • Avery

Wrist (and the rest of me) can’t handle the volume of full Linda right now.
    So I did 6-5-4-3-2-1:
    deadlifts @185#
bench press @55# (only thing that really bothered the wrist)
    full squat cleans @83#
    16:23 minutes
Felt really slow except for the bench which was on the too light side of scaling.

  • Hari

    30:05 Scaled to 90% BW (210 DL’s, 140 BP’s, 105 Cleans)
    (68,54), (55, 42), (61, 48), (41, 21)

  • Reagan

    Linda as Rx’d BW 160lbs

  • Jai

    Linda, full 10-9-8…3-2-1
92# deadlift, 41# for floor press and cleans.
As usual, deadlifts took the most time.
Practiced with purple string, 3 sets of 3 dead hangs then 4 sets of 1 where I held myself at the top for a count of 10. Then practiced push ups, 4 sets of 10.

  • Rickke

slightly over Rx’d on deadlifts and squat cleans and subbed less weight on bench press.
    BW: 140#
    DL: 215
    BP: 125
    Cleans: 115
Thanks for staying late and pushing me, Sara!

  • Matt D

did fight gone bad at cf 908 in nj.
    286 as rx’d. pr.

  • Peter Moskowitz

    35:30, pretending I weighed about 140 pounds.

  • Thanks for hosting me on my visit home. Thanks Sara for not letting it get to me.
