FGB4 UPDATE: Our Fight Gone Bad team is now at 17 people and we've raised $1415 thus far. We've still got time for more people to sign up to compete, so click here to sign up now! (And remember, you don't have to be a firebreather, you just have to want to help the two good causes we're fighting for: Athletes for a Cure, Wounded Warrior Project.)
If you're unavailable to compete next Saturday, 9/26, please consider making a donation (just type "CrossFit NYC" as team name and then donate to a particular individual on our team). Thanks!

Sophie: I'll take your spot for the run.
Big congrats to Mike K. for placing 3rd in the middle weight mens division (out of a lot of ppl), and to Craig for placing 3rd in the heavyweight mens division (he weighed in as a lightweight but decided he was too strong for them) at the Hybrid competition yesterday. Also, Torch and Brett did extremely well... There was a very high level of competition... The guy who won played for the Dodgers for 4 years. We had a lot of fun and more ppl need to start coming to these things!
Thanks Sara for taking my spot! Also, I signed up for FGB, so add me to the list
Congrats to everyone who competed yesterday!
Awesome work, CFNYC hybrid challengers!
Allison, I just signed up for FGB.
Do you know what time we will begin on Sat?
!
Kim,
We will just run FGB on one side of the Box, alongside the regular WOD classes at 11:00, 12:00, 1:00. As a practical matter, we will probably start each time we assemble a group of 6 to 10 participants (split in half, so each perrson has a partner to count.)
We will probably function on a "first come, first serve" basis. (Of course, people can delay their start, if they want to warm up or wait for others.) I am doubtful there will be much waiting. Just show up between 11:00 and 1:00, and we'll work it out.
If it gets busy, we may start earlier or stay later, but for now, assume 11:00 will be the first heat and 1:30 the last.
I heard everyone did awesome yesterday at the Hybrid challenge!!!! great job - wish I could have been there!
Abs not yet recovered from GHD, hands still not healed from daniel I decided to just skip the L pull up and handstand push up workout and row 5k at max resistance instead.
21:45
Did a CFE TT workout this morning.
1 mile - 7:20
3 x 400 @ 1 mile pace (1:48 each)
Followed this with 5 rounds of
20 KB swings (1/2 pood)
10 double-unders
Consecutive double-under count is now up to 5 :)
Nice work at the hybrid challenge all!!
