Black Box WOD
As many rounds as possible in 10 minutes of these two movements:
bodyweight deadlifts, 10 reps
burpees, 5 reps

Rest for 2 minutes. Then do the following:

With a continuously running clock, do 1 pull up/1 push up the 1st minute, 2 pull ups/2 push ups the 2nd minute and so on until you cannot keep up with the clock.

Post number of rounds for each of the two parts of this workout.

(Second Posting) Effective Monday, August 3, we will be suspending 6:00 AM Weekday WOD Classes.

Starting August 4, on Tuesday and Thursday, there will be a 6:00 AM Elements Class. Experienced members may (with Jacinto's approval) work out on their own along side that class.

We may soon offer a Beginners' Class at 6:00 AM on Monday and/or Friday. If and when that class begins, experienced members will also be able to work out on their own during those 6:00 AM classes (with Jacinto's approval).

Anyway, count me in.

I am hoping to be fully healed by the 8th, but if the competition were tomorrow I'd have to bow out. My ankle is still inflamed. Just a heads-up.

re: the rest day photo... the irony is that it was taken just before a several day span where there was almost no rest, while we barreled through Dubrovnik, Split, Rijeka, and Ljubljana (Slovenia) averaging around 2 hrs of sleep a day/night.

Did today's CFE 9 min time trial WOD. Got to 1.3mi, for about a 6:55 pace.
That needs to get faster... or at least sustainable for a longer distance.
