Feel like doing a 5K row tomorrow morning. Now to get my ass out of bed...

Gonna hit a strength session at 6pm if anybody wants to join in. Thinking 5x5 shoulder press and some abs.

This morning, while Ari soldiered through the burpee/pullup WOD from yesterday, the rest of us got jacintoed, as follows:

4 RFT: 250m row, 10xDL, 5 ring dips. I used 195lbs, time: 8:42

Then, "Heavy Bag Overboard":
Timekeeper: flip heavy bag from pullup station to door and back
Stations: KB swings (1 pood), weighted sit ups (25lb), mini pistols off low box (sets of 10 per leg)
3 rounds, rest 1 minute between rounds.
Crew: Doug, Kirk, Lisa, Ewen
Total time: 10 something

Pull-up challenge: 16 C2B

Anybody who did the WOD yesterday, congratulations! You just bought your way into the 100 day Pull-Up Challenge! Why stop now?

After all, you can always stop later, which I might have to do since I have no idea how I'm going to manage through the holiday season, doing 80+ pull-ups a day while criss-crossing France.

For some sadistic reason, I'm sad that I missed being Jacinto'd this morning. You kids are great. I'll have to come up with something sufficiently masochistic for my workout this evening...

As there were only three C2s, I did KB swings instead - and substantially less weight than Ewen!

After all that fun, 16 pull-ups to stay in that mental Pull-Up challenge (not all C2B, but now Ewen has thrown down the gauntlet...).

Ewen thanks for pointing out that we all bought-in to the Pullup Challenge yesterday. Based on the performance I put in yesterday I can obviously use some pullup work, and the challenge will be a good start. Looks like I have 16 pullups to do today along with my run.

First 5k ever. Actually first 2k, 3k and 4k ever.it was as awful as I anticipated but frankly most of crossfit is. After nearly two years of crossfitting and attempting no running more than four hundred meters I forced myself. I am permanently flushed, my shins and knees hurt and my time was sloooow. And those r the good parts. But I did it.so I am satisfied for now. And I have to say I did it bc of Hari. Doing the wod next to him/with him last night but at half the reps per interval made me realize that I need to work harder. Thx Hari. I think.
