question-how early will the box be open for this? will someone be there at 5;30 as usual to start running heats (and because I realy need to do this and get out of there early :))

Aahhhhh... one of my favorite workouts! Too bad I'm already back in Ann Arbor and won't be able to partake of the agony with all of you cool folks at the Black Box.

Just wanted to drop a line to thank all the coaches at CrossFit NYC whom I had the pleasure of meeting and training under on my visit this time -- Allison, Mike, Court, and of course Jacinto (truly, a man after my own heart, when it comes to crazy things like back-to-back WODs).

And thanks of course to everyone whom I had the good fortune of working out alongside with. I really, really enjoyed the atmosphere and it was great training with such a motivated, kick-ass crew. I hope to be back soon. Meanwhile, y'all take care!

GREAT WOD this morning!
Very, very small group for a kick-ass Angie.

It felt like a pretty slow start in the cold, but once things got moving...
I can't even being to tell you how crazy it was to watch Gillian do this WOD, but it totally pushed me to go faster.

My first time with Angie:

I wrote 19:35 on the board at The Box, but when I checked my time it was WAY better! Sweet.

Angie as rx'd 20:34. I had a superior ranking officer deriding the quality of my pushups so I did an extra 25 for him.

27:07. Only 41 seconds faster than last April's time, but I will take that, given I was literally hobbling to the gym. Pullups are still the massively limiting factor. Will have to develop a kip at some point.

Fcking situps took longer than my pushups.

my first angie involved kipping pullups, green band strict pullups, chest to deck pushups, pushups off a box and knee pushups. and lots of coaching from court. and lots of support from the lunchtime crew. hell people started angie when I was still working on my pullups and they finished before i did.

once again gabe you cld have done 2 angies in my one.
and Gillian could have gottne three for one on my time.

with several breaks for getting into a band, moving to a box for pushups and several pauses to beg court for advice. Thx Court!

did 40 situps unbroken and 35 squats unbroken. stillcouldnt shave off the 13 minuts it took me to do the first 50 pullups! aargh!

Did Angie with the lunchtime crowd today -- nice work everyone!!

Time as RX'd: 16:54

Splits were:
Pullups: 5:19
Pushups: 5:09
Situps: 3:58
Squats: 2:28

Goals for next time:
Shave 15-30 seconds off the pullups
Kill 30-60 seconds from the pushups
Reduce situp time by 1 minutes
and finally, trim that squat time by 28s.

Shooting for sub-15...

Heading to Vancouver next week...

JO and anyone else who knows - who should I look up at CrossFit Vancouver?

Visiting my best friend who trains there, but it is always good to have an inside track.

Question: What do you do to get such a great time on the sit-ups...? Just like B. Garvin, the sit-ups did not do my time any favours...

Anyone have any sit-up recommendations?

i went back to the at&t store and after about hour hour of waisting my time they gave me a new one and it works (immediately prompted the sierra wireless like you said)
