On Sundays, 10am is our weekly free beginners' class, which does not follow the Workout of the Day (posted above), but instead focuses on introducing the basics of crossfit movements while providing a challenging but doable workout. 11am is our Workout of the Day class.

We're trying to get back in the routine. Last month, there was the sudden shift caused by the two-day cycle, followed by the dinner in Brooklyn. This time, many of us will be at the Olympic Lifting Cert in Boston. Nonetheless, many of you will be in town (and all of you who are should definitely be at that night's Rest Day Seminar: Adam will be teaching the Snatch at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM; details to follow).

There are also several birthdays to celebrate: Kurt, Michelle, Zach, and another big one, soon to be announced.

Took the WOD class to the East side track for a little running technique work and Griff. Times were from sub 12 minutes to sub 15. There was bright sunshine, and Pukie came out to play half way through.

running backwards was a little wierd.
How is this a functional movement, other than its obvious use in some sports?
