Juan, Adam and I went out to for a bite after elements class. Adam was hesitant about going out since he didn't have another shirt aside from his UnderArmour (we tried to convince him to wear the pink GymBoss t-shirt instead, but he declined). Either way, it paid off since it earned him a "bigger-muscles-than-me" discount from the guy selling rap CDs in Times Square. See, Adam? There's no reason to feel self-conscious!

But from reading the Mark's Daily Apple article (nice summation) and its comments, it seems there were some flaws....
But anyhow, thanks to the Israelis for doing this study!! As an aside, in Israel it is quite common to eat 2-3 eggs daily; no one is really that concerned over the cholesterol from eggs!

I sort of have an objection to the idea of expensive sliders. It makes little sense to me to be paying at least as much as you would for a regular burger, but you're getting f*cked by a worse meat-to-bread ratio.

That sounds like a great idea. I am signed up for the actual race (I signed up two days after registration opened to make sure I got in), but would love some run specific training sometime in August or September.

i got up today feeling amazing for the first time in weeks. I got up, went to pick up my refund deposit from my last apt (hooray!), then went and paid the IRS the money i owe them (since my wages were being levyed from work) then went to mid-city to do the WOD. My second round i realized i ran around all day with all this enegry from feeling so good and hadn't eaten anything. Good time to lose gas :( did the 3rd round and stopped. I still feel good though :)

This WOD did suck. My shoulders feel... wait I don't feel much of anything right now. Come to think of it they feel pretty much dead. This has been quite a week as far as the push muscles are concerned.
And yes, "unrestricted diets RULE!!!"
