Rest day on the main site. Come down for one of the last days of Black Box Version 1.0 to find out what's cooking.

Remember:
We're planning to have a breakdown party on Saturday afternoon, May 3rd after the WOD. Come help us pack all of our stuff up and get it ready for moving on Sunday.

Details of the Sunday, May 4th move will be posted here on the site as soon as we know more.

And most importantly: PLEASE REMOVE YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS (BY FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE LATEST) FROM THE BOX OR THEY WILL BE THROWN AWAY.

Oh and that vitamin D article -- I'm wary...

Vitamin D is a steroid isn't it (ie not really a vitamin)? I'm sure supplementing with human growth hormone would have pretty remarkable effects on health (on the over 40s anyway), but prescribing that for the whole population? Would be Waay creepy! Re-brand it as 'vitamin' H on the other hand, and perhaps we'd have another winner...

Sorry I couldn't be there for a Black Box 1.0 rest day. But I decided to take a "rest" after doubling up on the WOD's yesterday.

Took it easy with the usual warm up (5/10/15 pullups, pushups, squats) and moved on to four 500m sprints on the C2 with an emphasis on technique as opposed to speed.

Focused on exploding with my legs, but easing up on the chain recovery. So the ratio of stroke time to recovery time was about 1 to 2.

Aimed to keep the SPM under 33 while maintaining a sub-2 minute 500m (1:44.1, 1:50.8, 1:53.7, 1:57.3. but who's counting...)

Had a good laugh at the end, as I managed to move the erg about 2 feet from it's original position.

Will see people tomorrow, am looking forward to the big upgrade to 2.0 (even if it's still beta)!
