Yesterday's lunchtime crew, post-WOD, left to right: Tagg, Jon, Bin (visiting from Charlottesville), Brian G.

Post WOD, Bin took advantage of getting to drop weight. He does CF at his college gym with some friends, and is used to having to do o-lifting with metal plates and a no-drop policy.

Speaking of bacon, this article was a total letdown:
Bacon Triptych Auctioned for Record $86 Million
13 +5 pullups
Nice pics...I eagerly await the Manhattan Box-which seems more like the Manhattan project these days.

Virtual Cindy?
Hey, I had a great time over there, thanks to Alizinha and Court for running the workouts I went to. The Cardboard box looks pretty snazzy for what it is; I'm sure it'll be even better once things like electricity and plumbing come in as well...
Like Allison said, I came up from UVA, where we have a small group that works out together. If anyone is interested in seeing what we've done, then check out our blog at uvaxfit.blogspot.com
17 rounds, +6 pushups
13 rounds + 10 push ups
13 rounds
subbed jumping pullups
I'm diggin' the cardboard box y'all. Who doesn't like workin' out with a big, open garage door, no lights, and no toilet?
That is the real black box.
Right on Margie!

nice.
hari's bday dinner
Ok everyone-having a little trouble with novecento-basically we would be seated next to a dance floor/tapas bar-i.e extremely loud- and some of my soho friends said the food is not great and the staff rude and they try and kick you out if they have another party coming in plus the portions are not too generous
they all recommended Churrascaria Plataforma on 49th b/w 8th and 9th-- "after loading up at a huge salad bar, you're faced with an endless parade of roaming waiters slicing and serving all you can eat skewered meats, a roomful of high energy carnivores bent on a food orgy ensures a lively experience" Zagats
I am not even sure if you guys have been there for a rest night dinner-but here is the thing its $55 all you can eat but this does not include tax, tips and drink. My offer to purchase several bottles of wine still stands but i wanted soem feedback if this place is too pricey. No one will go away hungry and the fod is supposed to be superg and the 49th street location much more fun than the SoHo location. However if this will be too pricey- I will keep hunting. Becco has not gotten back to me, nor has Calle Ocho. But I am open to recomendations!
Thanks everyone for your patience!
Mary as rx'd 10 rounds + 4 pistols
Great to see the Cardboard box in the flesh for the first time. Biked their from home through the Industrial part of Bushwick and East Williamsburg.Took about 15 minutes. I love the space, it is perfect for cross fitting, especially once the electric and plumbing happen. Ahh if only to have a place like that in Manhattan, but with real estate costing what it does and all the developers trying to suck the life and character out of our beautiful city it probably ain't gonna happen.
Thought I would die on the HSPU's but my achilles heel turned out to be all those darn pullups. Had to break them up by the 4th round. Hari congrats on the pr.
I did my first ever RXed Cindy today.
19 rounds + 5 pull ups + 7 push ups
I was definitely losing depth on the push ups. My first rounds I was going chest to deck. In later rounds I was craning my neck to tap my chin to the ground.
