Anyone nearby want to run this at 12:30? I'm at 46th/8th but was going to head up to the park. We could meet nearby either.

I've linked to the route, or if you want to meet in the park we'll just take a wider circle.

Btw, I another game last night. Our team came back from 4-1 this time and I got the game winner.

By the end of the 2nd period, I was telling my linemate how tired I was, and he replied, "Isn't this what you take those conditioning classes for?"

The word "played" should be somewhere in the first sentence.

A little late, but here's my info from yesterday (which i really enjoyed, by the way). I've been feeling pretty strong on the heavy stuff recently.

Max Effort Thrusters:

155, 165, 175, 185, 195 (f), 195, 200.

Brendan, # for # great lifts. I was not happy with 205 yesterday, seeing as I did 6's with 135 for the 4 quarters in that vid.

And Paul and Brian coming in with 195's also puts my lift to shame. Can't wait to drop!

Wonder what we are going to do tonight, hmmm...?

Yuck, I came into work this morning and drank a "muscle milk" and immediately got the worst stomach ache, before spending 20 minutes heaving my guts up into the office toilet.

I'm not sure i'll ever be able to drink one of those again..

Thanks for the encouragement Coach P, but outside of Crossfit a 6:33 mile is middle-of the pack, at best. Overall, I'm still happy with the trade-offs that come with CF training.

Hey congrats on your hockey starness Jeff. Do we get to come see you in action, or just hear about it the next day and trust that you're not foolin' with us?

Maybe some of you can come out to watch us play when Brett heals up. I'm also in 'contract negotiations' to add get another member of the CF family to come out to skate with us. Sadly no, it's not Juan, who only seems to get the urge to play whenever he's had a few beers.

Actually the key to Jeff's success is his amazing diet. He has proven that contrary to the claims made in movies such as "Super Size Me", eating inordinate amounts of fast food is actually good for you.

5km Run - 20.07

Legs extremely sore. I need some severe help with my running style, I think my left foot points to far outwards. My left knee feels for want of a better word: fu**ed.

Also, big big kudos to Moon and Tiffany who were also down at the east river track and did their first 5ks! :)

Sam, very demure of you not to drop the "F Bomb"...sounds like you need to book a Z session with me if you don't want your knee to get worse.

Long story short, I ran 12 laps in 24:30. Turns out, I stopped half a lap short of 5km. By the same reason, my 10km time is short a lap. Grrr on my bad mathing!

Thanks much to Sam for sticking around long after finishing to run the last lap with both Tiffany and me.

Hey Coach P I did 190 at BW 165. Doesn't that count for something? ;)
