Evidence of last night's debauchery:

You gotta be kidding. Party rocked!
It looked alright until the GI Janes. Then it's looking like it's all going to hell real fast.
So are those 12 two handed snatches, 6 one arm snatches per side, or 12 one arm per side?
Ow.
Awesome party.
Thanks for throwing it.
Why'd it have to be on a Thursday?
Thanks to everyone that hung out and talked.
Sorry to everyone listened to my drunken ramblings.
Thanks for the 40, Jack.
Thanks for making me drink water, Brian.
Ow.
So............... Good party eh?
I hope that everyone I served a drink(s) to made it home safe and wasn't visited by Pukie last night.
Michelle-you looked amazing. Definitely best dressed!
Keith and Robzilla-glad you enjoyed your 40z. Ducked a few drug dealers to get them for you. Keith your fiance is so cool-which makes me wonder more why she said yes.
Moon the zoot suit was awesome...damn good cookies! Those things are crack-tastic!
Kevin-good to see you man. Your wife is cool! Now she knows who the other woman is (inside joke ya'll)
Tom and Christina-you guys are so funny!
Dan Def-good luck today in court. I wouldn't want my fate in your hands right now!
Xuan Mai- a pleasure to finally meet you and your husband. Look forward to training with you soon.
I saw Coach P dance hip hop-and he was on beat. Nuff said.
Paul S aka Prince Charming-you had the prettiest cameo ever. You showed up, posed, sipped...and like that you were gone.
Jacinto- El coquito estaba bueno!
Erica is vicious party girl-let the buyer beware! :-)
Sam-you're a blast! Have a safe trip and when your return, time to get in Cert shape!
Alex and Brett, poured a little liquor for you guys!
20, then straight 15s on Tabata shots!
It was really nice to see everyone eating chocolate balls.
Whether you were at the party or not, I have to thank each and every one of our members for making this the best year ever. If you were at the party,
I apologize for all the things I said and did last night.
Ouch! The pain I felt in my thighs from doing 400 lunges has moved to my head. I have to go to The Box now and see what the aftermath looks like. I hope you all realize that the beer will replace the water in the fridge until you drink it all. Please come in to help with that.
Thank you all for a fun night and a fanastic year! Watch out now, 2008, here we come!
Is there any truth to the rumor that we have to chug a beer after every "day"?
WOW. I just woke up with cookie crumbs stuck to my body.
Jack WTF? thatnks for leaving me out.
The last thing I remember last night is dancing to Soulja Boy.
Why the hell did I do 15 pull ups and tababata shots last night? I havn't had a sip of any alcohol since October and I'm going back to my non-drinking ways forever starting now. I cna't freaking workout like this..
It's weird that The Box looks better and cleaner the day after a party than right after a workout.
Perhaps we need more parties to keep the gym clean.
this is what happens when work out geeks party. they aren't prepared for the hangover, the pain, the faint memories...
you are all so funny.
POST MORE PICS!!
i am going to attempt to do this on my own at my old elementary school. yikes!
last night i had dinner with a friend that i hadn't seen in ten years (i am old enough to say that now :(). it was humbling, to say the least. he is a human rights lawyer for the FMLN in el salvador. he said his job description is "to try not to get shot". this man was like my brother growing up and now he finds families of people that were wrongfully "adopted" in the seventies.
while i would have loved to have been at the party, i wouldn't trade last night for all the v2 in the world.
glad it was a good time!!!
On my fourth gatorade now so I can finish thanking more people:
A2-Soulja Boy was fun. You kept up!
Dan Def-when I saw your number on my caller ID right now I knew you were not behind the 8 ball this morning! LMAO
Juan-you held it down at Rendezvous
Ewen-"Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité"
Keith, why did you almost push Robzilla out an open window?
Josh showed up drunk already and then did more Tabata shots with his crew. Find a trainer at any Globo Gym who can do that!
Hari-you left early and last night a bank robbery in Midtown was foiled. Hmm-coincidence?
Yoon-you turned red in the face...I guess there was more than Coke in your last drink huh?
Jamal, you are a daper pimp.
Sarena and everyone else thanks for the great food.
To all the new people I met, it was a pleasure.
Court happy you finally got Blade Runner. You're a good man Charlie Brown- you deserve good things.
Marisela you are absolutely right-people didn't know how to act. You were missed.
Glad you liked the speech-we got the best gym in the world. 1000 on the total in 08! More Lulu Lemon in 2008!
We really need to look into making our own videos. http://www.doubleviking.com/street-gymnastics-7404-p.html
WESTSIDE
moon - any chance you'll share your recipe for your cookies? those were friggin amazing. good times last night!
Maura - can't share just yet. Still more R&D to be done.
AllisonNYC - I too have woken up amongst the cookie crumbs after a long night. Is why I only bake those pups for a few weeks a year. And yes, WESTSIDE!!
Greg - Rendezvous does not exist. If you guys wanted to lose me, ya just shoulda said so. :) BTW - later I will tell you a brief story about how cops are drawn to people wearing purple suits wandering about midtown.
I hurt my brain.
My legs hurt today. Why? Oh right. Tabata Shots. Forgot about those.
Good times had by all. Thank you Keith, Court, Josh and Mike. The plaque is but a small token of how much we appreciate all you do.
Hey Allison NYC I just surpassed you on FS!! Worked out alone at home gym after teaching class. I dont know how I did it on 4 hrs sleep and justa cup of Jo! Maybe it was those choc balls last nite that kept me going--far too much sugar for this grandma!!
FS:
45x5
65x5
85x5
95x5
105x3
115x3
125x3
130x3
135x2
135F
140x1
145F
I was so close on that last FS, 145#--half way up I dumped it1 Keith I tried hearing your voice saying UP but it just didnt happen! Dumped it in squat station.
Previous PRs were 133 x1
128x3
So now thats 103% bodyweight!
Sorry I almost pushed you out the window, Rob.
dude, jack, reading this i would think that it was "jack bauer is a very important man" party. you're giving thanx like you just won an oscar.
damn, i wish i could have been there.
about to go celebrate the 12 days of christmas. then i go tonight to get a new tatoo. i'm psyched!
Apparently I made it home last night. That's pretty cool.
you all looked beautiful, btw.
My buddy posted this on main blog. Good thing i hadnt seen it yesterday--more sin!
Here's the dessert I am making for CF ABQ holiday party...
Chocolate Bark
3 Tbsp grapeseed oil
6 Tbsp agave nectar
2 cups pecans
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
3 cups dark chocolate chips
1. In a large skillet, heat oil and agave until bubbling
2. Add pecans and stir until they are well coated, then mix in salt and seasonings
3. Cook for 4 minutes, then remove pan from heat
4. Place nuts on a parchment lined baking sheet
5. Place sheet in a 400 degree oven and roast for 4 minutes, remove from oven and cool completely
6. In a separate saucepan over very low heat, melt chocolate
7. Pour chocolate into a parchment lined 13 x 9 glass dish
8. Break up the pecans and sprinkle over the chocolate
9. Using a metal spatula, spread the mixture evenly back and forth to 1/2 inch thickness
10. Allow to sit out until set, 1-2 hours
11. Cut into squares and serve
No problem Keith. It would have been but a short fall for this tall man.
Marisela, my Oscar speech is a lot shorter. And I am simply giving detailed props to everyone that made the party a fun-filled experience-and being that people were a little gone, also wanted to give people a good recap. :-)
Wow, looks like I missed all the fun again (hey how about one more time with the stomach flu this year)... Funny thing is I think its the same reason why I missed to opening party as well.
I need to pick up some t-shirts later to bring to DC tomorrow. Some guys shirts, a little one for Spider Chick and some barf bags.
I just got a t in the mail from CrossFit West Sussex. I should take a picture of myself in it and send it.
Sarena: Good stuff woman! You're seriously strong and you work hard.
I've still got you.. sort of. I front squat 114% of my BW ;)
I wonder if that means we can clean that much. I haven't done max cleans since my PR. Looking to bump it up next time. I think Annie cleans like 155 so I have 35 pounds to go
My clean is way lower but working it....I will get it up as my shoulder heals I am now lifting more and heavy again!
Wow I'm also glad I made it home My lower back was killing me. Walking to the subway was agony. THen Pukie paid me a visit once I got home. Yikes!!
51:14. Those are 12 snatches per arm, natch. Wasn't real handstand pullups, used a box for assistance.
I'm going to add unassisted handstand pullups to my goals for 2008.
"handstand pullups"?!?! HARDCORE! :)
Dang Moon you're quicker than I am. And I agree that handstand pullups are HARDCORE
Man, party looked like fun. Wish I wasn't sitting on a sweaty plane for 6.5hours. I'm contemplating doing the 5k run after I get my cavity filled this afternoon...maybe.
Forget the tshirts. I'm still in bed and I'm not getting out until tomorrow morning.
I'm going to "learn how to break someones arm" tomorrow.
I think I left my mp3 player at the Box. I stopped by real quick but couldn't find it. If anyone has seen it then please let me know. It looks like flash drive and is shiny.
5K run in 24:56 on a rolling trail, PR on this exact trail by 2-3 min
Navy Seals WOD today:
25 Pullups, 50 135# Dead Lifts, 50 Pushups, 50 Situps, 50 55# Dumbbell Swings, 50 65# Thrusters, 25 Pullups.

Sam: WHAT?!
That meat you bit is making you talk funny
"That meat you bit is making you talk funny..." A-yo!

That was my British dialect coming out Allison..
