This looks hard...I'm going to come by at lunch.

New Logo: 150 is the new 100.

you think that sounds easy? omg the pullups

This doesn't even sound easy. Who wrote that? It should be called "Looks Hard...Is Harder". LOL

Marisela-I left $60 for you at Crossfit. I expect my change in large bills-preferably clean crisp singles. :-)

Anyway to end our week with another humorous clip
Enjoy:

And this one for anyone who has had a rough week and wish they could knockout a co-worker or their boss

LMAO at the Nunchucks guy!!! Hilarious! Thanks for that.

I knew that would be the one that got your Keith! LOL

I watched it like 10times because it was nuts. You're welcome

There's actually a bigger story behind what's going on with the nunchucks guy. Basically having one bad day captured on tape can hose up an 18 year career.

Marisela --- I can't make it to the box this evening, so can't drop my money off.. if you want I can register a team on my credit card & get the money from you next week? Let me know, or email/call me allan.erskine [at] credit-suisse.com

hspu rom was pretty poor for the 4-5th sets. some broken blood vessels around the eyes too.

Damn Bretty you're a beast! Good time though. I'll be doing the modified HSPU on the box once my arms get wobbly. I ain't got insurance like that man! LOL

Todays WOD

This was really tough. It felt long and at one point wasn't sure what round I was in.

I haven't tried this today, I'm going to do it later today. But I have a quick question for Keith. I finally did that front squat work out yesterday and followed it up with some light weight snatches. Somehow I slightly tweaked my lower back, the left erector spinae to be specific, and it's still sore/stiff today. Any ideas for some stretches I could do to help out?

Cobra pose
Child's pose
Reclining twist

38:34 As Rx'd (Less than full ROM on the HSPU's)

And how exactly do I do those? any links to websites that demonstrate those positions? And thank you for the lightning fast reply.

Nah Greg, Kevin's the beast so far. Well done Kevin.

Nevermind Keith, I googled the poses and fiugred out how to do them. thank you

Kevin is the Bionic Man Brett. Cumbya!

Thanks for the kind words guys. Brett kicked ass as well.Did you see the times on HQ's site. Speal 13:23 and OPT 14 something. Ridiculous. I gotta do this again very soon. I want a sub 20 on this.

And a tip for everyone don't have Choucroute (Classic dish from Alsace, France consisting of lots of sausage, meat and tons of pickled vegetables and various condiments)the night before an intense WOD like this. Though it did Pair up well with a Dry Riesling and Gewürztraminer. Unfortunately I ate so much and felt so crappy this morning I was burping up sauerkraut before the WOD even started. Pukie was banging on my door big time, especially after the WOD for what seemed like an hour.

LOL...Not very zone Kevin. I'm going to do this work in 30+ region. The pullups are going to murder me.

Actually Greg, I suspect that choucroute is quite Zone-friendly. Not WOD-friendly (especially in large quantities) but Zone-friendly.

Mmmm, choucroute... (Homer H. Simpson style)

Popye's fried chicken and biscuits for me for dinner. Tomorrow's a rest day...with 2 hours soccer.

LOL. Damn you Frenchman! Always there to add your two francs!

Brett Popeye's is the bomb! Have a good weekend ya'll. Probably hitting up the movies tonight to see War or Superbad again; that's if I can lift the card to buy the ticket after tonight

37:44 as rx'd.

HSPUs turned into a lot of lonley singles...

I met some excellent people at CFNYC today. looking forward to coming back!

Worked form--light-OHS and snatches along with some ring work and moving equip 4 cert @CFSD! Expecting 80+ trainees--big cert and us trainers get bright orange Ts!
Last nite visited folks and worked out a bit @BrandX! Nice place and they have Rachel,s'Huffington Post piece prominintely displayed. Go Rachel, Allison and CFNYC

so, now i have the money for:

greg
ewen
rob
allison
(juan)

anyone else?

FGB,
It messed me up so bad I couldn't add. I kept my card and just used a calculator. My score was 187, not 287. oh man I'm an idiot.

My three rounds were 62,61,64.

5 rounds
50 squats
30 pull ups
15 Handstand push ups

Urbanathlon: Now's the time to get your shit together, people! Deadline is the 31st and I'm not paying extra! Give your name and cash to Marisela, let's decide on teams and let's start training. This is when the "training is my sport" crap stops and you start working towards an event. You do know you'll be running 3 miles + obstacles (maybe even 52 flights of stairs) right? Hop to it!
